It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Sandra Kathleen Parr on June 20, 2026 surrounded by her family.
Beloved wife of Bob, whom she shared a lifetime of cherished memories, laughter, and unwavering devotion.
She was the loving daughter of the late Harry and Muriel Irvin, and sister to the late Jim and Roger Irvin. Devoted mother of Bill Parr and Rhonda Schneider (the late Tim). Proud and loving grandmother of Noah Parr, Lindsey (Mitch), and Hailey Schneider, who brought her endless joy and pride.
She is also lovingly remembered by her sister and brother-in-law, Margaret and Donald Jennings, as well as her dear friends Lynn, Maureen, Jean, and Susan. Their friendship meant so much to her throughout the years.
Sandra was a passionate and devoted fan of the Montreal Canadiens. She rarely missed a game and was quite theatrical with her expressions of good plays or bad calls by the referee’s. Sandra loved her sports, and could often be found checking scores on her sports app.
She treasured her time on Georgian Bay, especially the many happy years spent aboard the Minkisle and at the family cottage. Those moments on the water, surrounded by family and friends, were among her happiest of memories.
She will be remembered for her love of family, her loyalty to friends, her enthusiasm for sports, and the warmth and kindness she shared with everyone who knew her. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
“Those we love don’t go away; they walk beside us every day.” ❤️
