Joseph (Joe) John Bax, born in Newmarket Ontario on March 10th 1955, passed away peacefully September 19th 2020 in Barrie, Ontario.

Survived by his brother Ted (Judy) and sister in law Gerde. Father of Morgan (Chris) and Stepfather of Bart (Ellen). Grandfather of Marcia, Noel and Octavia. Uncle to Michael (Robyn), David (Ginny), Nathan (Michelle), Kristina (Micheal).

Predeceased by his parents Lina and Martin Bax and his brother John.

Joe became a Life Member of the Kinsmen Club in 2008. He was long-time part salesman for Ford in Orillia and Barrie. Joe was an avid lover of Ford (First On Race Day), Golf, Nascar, Boating, Monty Python and Baseball. He will be remembered as the life of the party and his dedication to the community.

Celebration of his life will be held at a later date due to Covid 19.

    He certainly was the life of a party. Many good times with him on the street and at nascar races across the USA. Will hold those memories close to our hearts. He was one unique person for sure

    I’m sorry to hear of Joe’s passing. He was my salesman for many years but did consider him a friend. We even managed to get to the drag races for some fun times.

    A great friend for 5 decades…….Joe hired me when I left Bombardier in 75 and I spent the rest of my career of over 4 decades in the Car business. For that I will always be thankful. Oh and he drove hell out of that little yellow 67 Mustang, what fun we had. He will be missed.
