Younes, Adella: Passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side on Friday morning December 4th, 2020. Adel Younes (nee Sarkis) of Newmarket, Ontario at the age of 79 years. Beloved wife of Naim Younes. Loving mother of Elise Desjardins (Steve) of Newmarket and Elie Younes (Samar of Orlando, Florida). Special grandmother of Christopher and Tiffany Desjardins, Stephanie and Alexa Younes. Dear sister of Diana Ghanem (Late Tedros), Najla Sarkis, Andre Sarkis (Amale), Tony Sarkis, Tilda Younes (Late Elias). Predeceased by her siblings Aziz Sarkis (Salma) and Elias Sarkis. Adel will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Due to Covid 19 restrictions, a private family farewell has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In memory of Adel, memorial donations may be made directly through the Canadian Cancer Society. Arrangements entrusted to Peaceful Transition York (2-15236 Yonge Street, Aurora) and condolences may be forwarded to the family through peacefultransition.ca
