Funeral Details: Private Cremation with burial in Windsor, Newfoundland at a later date

WILLIAMS, Aiden Baldwin - 1936-2021.  Passed away peacefully on November 8, 2021 in his 85th year.  Predeceased by his parents, Mary and Leo and siblings: Leo, Katherine, Michael, James and Patrick. Survived by his sister, Anita Dwyer (Clarence) and brothers, Felix Williams, Gerald Ralph, Paul and Bruce McCarthy. Aiden was born in Whitbourne, Newfoundland and lived many years in Toronto, Ontario where he enjoyed working for Toronto’s Parks and Recreation Department on Toronto Island.

 

Aiden was a much-loved uncle and will be fondly remembered and missed by many nieces and nephews across Canada. Thanks to the staff of Aurora Resthaven Long Term Care in Ontario for 15 years of care. A special thank you to Resthaven’s staff: Rachel, Stephanie, Tara, Hope, and Tammy for their unending kindness and love for Aiden.  Cremation has taken place.  Burial will occur in Windsor, Newfoundland, summer of 2022.  Please consider a donation to an animal charity of your choice in Aiden’s memory.  Arrangements entrusted to Peaceful Transition York (2-15236 Yonge Street, Aurora) and condolences may be forwarded through peacefultransition.ca

    Uncle Aiden you will be missed by many! I have many fond memories of you when you lived with us. Every payday you would bring us Pete’s Chicken. LolYou were a kind and gentle soul! Now you can fly with the angels❤️

    Uncle Aiden will always hold a special place in my heart. I spent a lot of time with him in my younger days. I have many fond memories of him visiting us often. You miss forever be missed. Fly high with the angels Uncle Aiden. Will love you always.

    My sympathies go out Uncle Aidan’s extended family. I met and learned about Uncle Auden’s life through his caregiver Denise. She truly care for all of his needs down to supplying him with the “correct” novels to read.
    May he rest in peace Denise , you have served him with love , humour and compassion.

    I will surely miss Aiden. He loved to tell stories from his past when he was working. I will miss him calling my name.
    He was so very fond of you Denise and you always put a smile on his face.
