Albert (Al) Swan passed away at Royal Victoria Hospital on Thursday, January 14th, 2021 at the age of 95. Beloved husband of Ruth Swan, father to Richard (Carol) Deborah, Nancy (Grant) and Laura.  Loved grandfather to Jeffrey, Rebecca, Jennifer, Cheyenne, Cole, Ashley, Kristen and Mehmet and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers Henry and Eddie, sisters Mary and Doris.

Al was a Veteran of the Royal Canadian Air Force and a faithful employee of Northern Electric (Telecom) for more than 40 years. Al was an avid sportsman through his life playing hockey, curling and golf.

Family will get together for a private celebration of life in the future, when we can all be together.

    Ruth hun it’s me from Swiss chalet in Barrie I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved husband. I’ve served you both numerous of times there you and your husband were so pleasant to serve you treated me like your own daughter I will never forget you embracing my hands you are such a beautiful woman I truely believe we will be together again Ruth. Stay strong hun I know it’s a very hard time for us to let go but one day we shal all be together Ruth I will never forget you and al god bless him Rest In Peace to all.
