Age 66, died peacefully at home on January 27 after complications from a radioactive lightning bolt to the toe that led to years of crime-fighting and a years long battle with a nefarious criminal named “stubborn”.
Civilians will recognize him best as Zeus riding the thunderbolt, and thank him for his many years of service protecting our city.
His family knew him only as a kind and mild-mannered Artist/Sculpturist, an “I win” Sportsman, “make it up as you go along” Philosopher, “You lose” argumentarian, comic book aficionado, fantasy world enthusiast, and “if you want to survive a nuclear holocaust” his passion for hunting, fishing and innate survival skills outdoors, makes Albert your man.
He was a master in the fine art of swearing and instructed people, whenever he could, on the dangers of holding in farts.
Those who got to know him moved beyond the tough guy image he portrayed to see a very sensitive, caring and helpful person. Albert had a great smile, a twinkle in his eye and had a laugh that was disarming. He loved dogs, snakes, the more dangerous the better.
Yes, The man. The myth. The legend. Men wanted to be him and women wanted to be with him. And others wanted to ……….. well, anyway.
