Albert Gray passed away on August 12, 2024, at 93. His beloved wife Rose and The Breakfast Club welcomed him. Albert was the devoted father of Albert (Irene), Alison, and Linda, a loving grandfather to Amanda (Kelly), Kaylea, John (Veronika), and Kyle, and a proud great-grandfather of Emily, Ava M., Ava G., Ella, Audrey, and great-great-grandfather of Joshua. Albert is reunited with his son-in-law, John and his siblings and their spouses, Peter (Flo), Mary (Bill), and Hugh (Betty).
Originally from Scotland, Albert and Rose immigrated to Canada in 1968, where Albert, a skilled Millwright and jack of all trades, built a life for his family. He was passionate about sports, particularly soccer, having been a talented football player in his youth and an enthusiastic supporter of the Jags. He never missed a good kitchen party sing-song. Albert loved to travel in his later years, always seeking destinations where he could soak up the sun.
According to his wishes, cremation has taken place, a service at the Aurora Cemetery will be scheduled at a later date. Until then, friends and family are invited to celebrate Albert’s life on Friday, August 16, 2024 at the Aurora Soccer Club (501 Industrial Parkway South) from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
