Paul will be missed. I remember him from my time at Forest Hill United Church in Toronto in the choir. He was a wonderful and kind person full of love and laughter. Paul is looking down on us and smiling.

On behalf of the Forest Hill United Church Official Board I want to convey our heartfelt condolences to Paul’s children, grandchildren, and other family members. Paul has been an important part of the FHUC community for many years. He has given us great joy through his singing, readings, and sense of humour. He was always prepared to give of his time to help with services, technology issues and any other way he could help. Paul was a valued member of the Board for many years service both as Secretary and the Chair of the Ministry and Personnel Committee. He always discharge his duty with grace, compassion and diligence. His thoughtful presence will be missed by all Board members.

On a personal note, I will very much miss Paul. I enjoyed listening to him sing when he was in the choir. We had many interesting conversations over the years on a variety of subjects. His hearty laugh was a joy to hear. His deep and personal faith was evident in all he did. I will miss seeing him sitting at the front of the Church working the computer so that everything was perfect for the service.

Please be assured that the FHUC community is mourning with you.
