Proverbs 10:7 The memory of a righteous friend is a blessing
Dora was a real blessing to us since our first meeting. She definitely united and nurtured those around her. Her last words to us at Thanksgiving were “You’re coming for Christmas – right”. In spite of the pain she was feeling at that time she was still making plans. We will surely miss you Dora! And, we will be thinking about you at Christmas.
Our prayers are with the family and our condolences are with you also.

Our deepest condolences to Kevin and family. So very hard to believe that this is a reality. You have lost a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a friend to all. We do have one thing in common though, we all loved Dora. We will all miss her beautiful smile, her funny wit and sense of humour. We will miss those gorgeous eyes and that silver hair, but most of all, I will miss our little road trips and going to lunch and arguing about who is going to pay. I will miss the funny stories about her life and the people in it. I will miss walking across the lawn to have dinner and a glass of wine or two… I will miss her doing the same at our house. I will always miss her, but she will never be forgotten by any who knew and loved her.

Dawn and I want you to know that we are indeed thinking of you at this time.
Our relationship with Dora and Kevin evolved around hockey.
Kevin was the coach of a group of boys who possessed skill and desire and through his leadership the team went onto great things, but above the boys were loyal to his ways.-a true leader-
However, Dora was always there for the boys, 100% . She always had a kind word, or a smile, and a genuine interest in their concerns, which was a great plus for the cause.
Personally, for Dawn and myself, Dora was a privilege to call a friend.

    Such a special Lady!
I will miss her warm hugs, our chats, sometimes deep talks together, her wonderful sense of humour, and the ladies bible study she graciously hosted in her home.
I look forward to seeing her in heaven. ❤️
