Amante Jornacion passed away peacefully on Sunday July 18, 2021 at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket, Ontario.  He leaves behind his devoted wife Cristina (Lola) of Aurora.  Loving father of Arnel (Belinda) of Mississauga, Jerry of Aurora, Albert (Rejean) of Toronto, Paquito (Pam) of Aurora, Rowena (Delon) of Newmarket and Connie (Kenneth) of Mississauga.  He will be sadly missed by his 8 beloved grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.  Loving Lolo of Kayla, Joshua, Kenneth-Cane, Cora, Keenan, Kamran, Amelia and Noah.  Great-grandfather to Jayden, Zachariyah and Elianna. Dear brother of Santos Junior (Rosa) in the Philippines, Adoracion in Toronto, and the recently Late Beatriz (Felino) Garcia of Aurora.  Amante will be fondly remembered by his nieces, Liza (Askari) and Aimee (Dave) and nephew Jonathan (Nghi) in Canada, and by many more family throughout the United States and from back home in the Philippines. He was predeceased by his parents Marcellina and Santos Senior of the Philippines and his four other siblings Rosita, Romulo, Rosario and Arthur.  Amante Jornacion was born in Santa Cruz, Philippines on January 27, 1939.   An Invitation by family Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, July 30, 2021 at 12:00 pm - at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Newmarket (17955 Leslie Street).  Visitation will be from 11am to 12pm at the church, prior to the Mass. Private family burial to follow at Aurora Cemetery.  Friends may make memorial contributions directly to St. Elizabeth Seaton Church.  Arrangements entrusted to Peaceful Transition York (2-15236 Yonge Street, Aurora) and condolences may be forwarded to the family through peacefultransition.ca
