Passed away peacefully on July 25, 2026, at the age of 81.
Anne was the beloved daughter of the late Arthur and Doris Prevatt. She was the cherished mother of Dene De Montbrun and a loving mother-in-law to Marc De Montbrun. Proud and devoted grandmother of Savannah, Maryse-Soleil, Schye, and Myles.
Anne was the dear sister of Antonio Prevatt and Catherine Prevatt-Lorenson. Her love extended far beyond family, and she became an adopted mother to many whose lives she touched, including Melina Pope and Damian Pope.
A woman of deep and unwavering Christian faith, Anne was a dedicated member of Barrie Victory Centre. Her faith guided her life and was reflected in her kindness, generosity, and compassion for others. She welcomed people with an open heart and gave freely of both her time and resources, always seeking ways to support those around her.
Anne found great joy in crocheting and lovingly shared her handmade creations with family and friends. Whether through a thoughtful gift, a kind word, or a helping hand, she had a remarkable ability to make others feel cared for and valued.
Above all, Anne was a devoted grandmother who delighted in the lives of her grandchildren. They brought her immense pride and happiness, and the memories they shared together will be treasured forever.
A Celebration of Anne's Life will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at Barrie Victory Centre, 80 Prince William Way, at 10:30 a.m..
