Funeral Details:

Peacefully on Sunday, April 25th, 2021, Anne Walker, lovingly known as mum, nana and G.G., passed away at Woods Park Home in Barrie, and joined her husband, Jack, who predeceased her 14 years earlier.  In her 99th year, she certainly lived a full and happy life.  She will be forever loved and missed by her daughter, Liz Maw (Darcy) and her son, David Walker. She was the devoted and loving nana to Ben Wells (Kaity) and Andy Wells (Natalie) who will all miss her deeply.  She was so incredibly proud to tell everyone she had three great-grandsons, Brayden, Adam and Aaron.  Once last plane trip with mum to take her ashes home to Scotland will take place when travel permits.  Online memories and condolences may be made at www.peacefultransition.ca

    my sincere condolences to Anne’s family. I just learned about Anne’s passing and am quite sad. Anne and I were neighbors when we both lived on Ellen St… we would walk together from time to time. I admired Anne so much for her kindness and strength of character. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
