Chisholm, Argyle Frances: Passed away peacefully on November 6th, 2020 at Southlake Residential Care Village, Newmarket. Argyle Chisholm of Newmarket at the age of 87 years was born on September 19, 1933 in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. She was one of 13 children born to Annie (Kennedy) and William Chisholm. Argyle was a respected registered nurse who dedicated her life to serving the Lord. She is pre deceased by her 12 siblings. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews’ relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place with a private graveside service and interment held at St. John Chrysostom Cemetery, 250 Main Street North, on the west side, north of Davis Drive, Newmarket, Ontario. Posted on: Sunday, November 15, 2020I had the pleasure of meeting Argyle Chisholm at Southlake Village as I was a “friendly visitor” volunteer.
We chit chatted from time to time and Argyle shared with me the Chisholm family story as written by her older brother Charles. This book is a must read for the family members to appreciate the hard times the 12 children growing up in the depression endured.
Argyle was very thankful for the care she received at Southlake and it was a pleasure to get to know her.
