Barbara Ann Cochrane

Passed away peacefully on October 14, 2026, at the age of 81 years.

Barbara was predeceased by her beloved husband, William (2022), and her cherished daughter, Susan (2025).

Loving mother of Kim, Chris, and Sean (Joelle).  Much loved grandma of Alicia, William (Elicia), Colton (Chelsea), Courtney, Makenzie (Natan), Shane, Sarah (Matt), Paige, and Alyssa, and proud great-grandma of Aurora, Tori, Daniella, Hadley, and Nathan, as well as great-great-grandma of Talitha.  Will also be remembered by her son-in-law Kirk.

Barbara was the heart of her family, a true matriarch whose love held everyone together.  She treasured every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, joyfully watching them grow while being a part of their lives.  Family gatherings were a constant source of comfort and happiness, and Barb's home was always a place where everyone felt supported, loved, and at home.  Her wisdom, kindness, and gentle guidance will be deeply missed by those who knew her.

The losses of her husband, William, and, not long after, her daughter, Susan, left an immeasurable void in Barbara's heart.  Her family finds comfort in believing that she has now been reunited with them, embraced once again in their loving arms.

A Celebration of Barbara's Life will be held at a later date.  Details will be announced on the Peaceful Transition website once they become available.
