Bertha “Karen” Michaud

1. Karen Michaud Passed away peacefully on April 30th, 2026 at the age of 66 years. Beloved mother of Shannon (Rob), Dannielle (Andrew), Peter (Sareenah), Meghan (Christopher), and Kurstyn (Matthew). Cherished Grandmother of Luci, Rain, Benjamin, Sullivan, and Alex. Dear sister of Russell, Deborah, Ben, Keith and Ken.

Karen was a fiercely independent woman with a resilient spirit that kept her strong through life’s challenges.  She enjoyed spending time working on puzzles, collecting teapots and took great pride in nurturing her plants and pets Marley and Sierra.  Karen will be remembered for her tireless efforts providing safe and compassionate community supports for children.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, with details to be updated on the Peaceful Transition website.
