Corrigan, Beth
We are saddened to announce the passing of Beth Corrigan. Beth crossed over at the age of 92 while resting comfortably at her residence in Barrie on June 1, 2015. Beth was predeceased by her husband Douglas N. Corrigan (CN Yardman, Yard foreman, Yardmaster and General Yardmaster) in Capreol and Sudbury.
She is survived by her son Michael Douglas (Jackie Hardy) of Barrie, his son Shawn Douglas (Amanda Johnson) and their two sons James Douglas and Westley Francis all of Winnipeg. Survived as well by her daughter Karen Mary –Kim-(Keith Armstrong) and their children Heather and David of Mississauga.
Beth fondly remembered her time in Northern Ontario though a series of wonderful paintings and sketches of the Vermillion, Capreol and Killarney areas. She was a great baker & decorator of cakes teaching the same at local schools in the area. She was active as the president of the resident’s council at her home and at 92 years of age was beating her computer at the game of scrabble.
