I have many memories of my Aunt Brenda, March breaks when I was little at the house in Bolton and eating the best rabbit in wine ever, and years later her teaching me how to make that… at age 43..
When I was nine, she taught me to crochet my first granny square. I had my first taste of Nutella on fresh italian bread and Ribena and water at Aunt Brenda’s. She gave me old pictures of my brother holding me as an infant, which I cherish to this day. She will be missed. She was a strong and tough woman. 💜 Lisa Davy Oberding

It was a sad day April 21 2020 to hear of the passing of a very dear friend 1962-2020 (58 years )Brenda we went through many milestones together ,we laughed and cried and made many memories along the way. I last talked to you on Thurs April 16th I now wish we were able to talk longer that day but you were suffering so hard to breathe I would not wish you back to go through that again. I will keep in touch with your children and share some of those memories that we had. I wish you a safe and speedy journey to heaven where you can rest. You left a scar in each of our hearts but your memories will live on. Goodbye my dear friend.

Auntie Brenda’s home in Bolton is where I spent many weekends with my cousins. She was sweet and firm. A good cook, and felt like home. She will be sadly missed but never forgotten. She was the next best hug other than my Mum.

    Love Always and forever.

    Denise XOXO

    Where to start,
Auntie Brenda was an amazing auntie, the best ever! she was kind, funny, her smile would give you comfort when you needed it. She was a great cook. I loved going to her house in bolton, we would chase cows and chickens, I got to hold all the rabbits I wanted to. Fond memories was going to the cottage, lots of good times there, wasn’t crazy about the outhouse lol, but she would come with me with the flashlight so I wasn’t scared. The time at buckhorn when that skunk got in our tent, ya good times. Now her and mum are having tea together. I will miss her every day ! I love you Auntie Brenda now and until I see the both of you again, because I will. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Laurie-Anne, Louie and Michael my deepest sympathies from the bottom of my heart for the loss of your mother, my Auntie Brenda. I know what it is to lose your mother and I know there are no words to comfort your pain at this time. Auntie Brenda was special to me, she was such a strong woman, she loved to travel, she loved to cook, she loved her family, she loved her crafts, she loved her grand children, she loved to renovate the cottage, she loved to visit family and friends, she was generous, she passed on her passion for coloured glass to me, she always had time to listen and a pleasure to talk to, she taught me a lot through out the years, her time here on earth was cut short from a cruel illness, she suffers no more, and is in peace now with her mother, her father, my mother (her sister Betty) grandson Doug and other family passed

I loved her very much, she will be missed everyday
