ORNSBY, Brian Francis
Passed away peacefully with family at his side on Monday, July 24, 2017 at Hospice Simcoe in Barrie at the age of 70. Beloved husband of Darlene Ornsby. Loving father of Lucas Ornsby. Dear brother of Ron, Dan (Debra), Frank (Donna), Mike, Ken (Heather) and Penny Ornsby (Paul Dixon). Pre-deceased by his sister Shelly Paige, survived by her husband Jamie Paige. Brian will be dearly remembered by his friends Harvey and Patti Ingwer and Rob and Sue Knapp. Survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family. A special thank you to the staff and volunteers at Hospice Simcoe.
In keeping with Brian’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at the Royal Canadian Legion in Barrie, 410 St. Vincent Street (entrance off of Ferris Lane) from 3-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers and gifts, cash donations will be accepted at the door for Hospice Simcoe.
