Passed away peacefully at the age of 94 years, at Hospice Simcoe in Barrie on July 6, 2023.  Brian was married to his cherished wife Margaret for an incredible 69 years.  Together, they built a beautiful life filled with love and laughter.  Loving father to his daughter Linda, and the late Martin.  He held a special place in his heart for his grandchildren: Aaron, Joshua (Jess), Chelsea (Edward), and Jordan. Additionally, he was fondly known as O.B. to his great-grandchildren Athena, Theodore, and D.J..  Brian's love for his family was immeasurable, and he treasured every moment spent with them.

Brian had a remarkable sense of humor, and his infectious laughter could light up a room. He possessed a unique ability to bring joy to others and had a knack for making people laugh. In his younger years, Brian was an avid tennis player and even met his wife Margaret while playing the sport they both enjoyed.  Golf was another passion of his, and he found solace and happiness on the golf course. Brian also enjoyed the challenge of jigsaw puzzles, relishing in the opportunity to solve them and spend time with his thoughts.

Margaret and Linda and Family: We are sorry to hear that Brian has passed away. We have fond memories of the many times we met and solved the worlds problems at your Queenston Stationary store in Stoney Creek downtown. We always liked and respected Brian and appreciated his wit and humor. I know he will be missed by all that knew him.
