It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Carl Joseph Nowlan on April 26, 2026 at the age of 55.
Carl was a hard working and dedicated man who had recently retired. He enjoyed camping, entertaining friends, playing guitar and singing around the fire. He had a larger-than-life personality and left a lasting impression on everyone that who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Carl is survived by his loving partner Annie Gaudet and his brother Alyre Nowlan. He was predeceased by his parents Gilles and Judy Nowlan. He is now reunited with his twin brother Claude Nowlan.
Carl will be remembered with love, laughter and many cherished memories by his family, friends and all who knew him.
A celebration of his life will be held on June 7, 2026 from 1 - 4 p.m., at the Essa Centennial Park at 5862 20th Sideroad, Utopia, ON, L0M 1T0.
Donations in memory of Carl can be made to The Edward MacDonald, Branch 499, of the Royal Canadian Legion (15 Fraser Street, Angus, Ontario) or to a Royal Canadian Legion of your choice.

I can remember if someone was down on their luck you could pick the up in seconds and make them laugh on the other hand you could make them laugh so hard they would cry.
