It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Carolanne Sanders, (nee Harp) a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and dear friend, who passed away peacefully on September 11, 2026, at the age of 83. Leaving behind a lifetime of love, laughter memories and a family who will miss her more than words can express.

Carolanne was the beloved wife and soulmate of the late John Sanders, with whom she shared a remarkable 61 year of marriage. They recently celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary a partnership built on love, laughter, devotion and a true commitment to one another. Their love story was one of a lifetime, and their bond remained at the heart of Carolanne’s world.

She was the cherished mother of Deborah Marais, predeceased by her beloved husband Andre Marais and now sharing her life with Jassen Phillips, and Jeff Sanders and his wife Sandi Sanders

She was the cherished sister of the late MaryLou Reynolds, Janie McBurney and Susan Phillips.

Carolanne was the treasured Babci (Grandmother)to Kylee (Mitch), Hailey (Joe) Jonathan (Alex, and Kasey (Kassidy) and a great grandmother to Kinely and Everly

The family would like to express the gratitude to the nurses, PSW and staff of Mill Creek Care Centre

Carolanne is now reunited with John, the love of her life, and with the family members who went before her. After everything she endured, she is finally at peace and free from pain. Although our hearts are broken by her loss, there is comfort in knowing that she is once again in the arms of the man she loved so dearly.

A celebration of life will be held at Hawk Ridge Golf Club on Sunday December 13th, 2026, from 1 to 4 pm. 1151 Hurlwood Lane, Severn, Ontario L3V 0Y6. All our welcome to join in honouring Carolanne’s Memory.
