McDonald, Catherine M. (Cathy): It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Cathy McDonald on January 14, 2021. Beloved wife of Kirk Thompson. Loving mother of Annette Colucci (Rob Cannon), Tench McDonald, Robert Chulhan and her step-son Aaron Thompson. Special grandmother of Michael. Predeceased by her grandson Malakai and father Michael McDonald. She will be sadly missed by her mother Gloria (Marcel) Charbonneau. Dear sister of Michael McDonald, Sheri McDonald (John Mastermarco) and Chester Skinner. Aunt and Godmother of Ashley Lance (Jacob). Aunt of Christine Skinner (Ivan Kostenyuk) and her mother Caroline Beard. Loving daughter in law of Heather Chin. Cathy will be fondly remembered by her Godparents Murlen and Norm Comeau as well as many relatives and friends. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private family prayer service will be held. A Celebration of Cathy’s Life will be held at a later date.
