Funeral Details: Private Family Arrangements

Cecilia Bridget Mowat

Passed away peacefully on January 25, 2024 at the age of 76 years.  She was a devoted mother to Mary and Tanya and the late Gary Wayne Jr.  Sister of Nellie, Anita, and the late Robert “Bob”, Madeline, Katherine “Kit”, and Eugene.  She was also a cherished grandmother to 7, and a beloved great-grandmother to 4.

Cecilia found joy in playing the lottery and had a special fondness for scratch tickets.  Her home was a place of warmth and welcome, with a revolving door that symbolized her open-hearted nature.  She was known for her compassionate spirit, always willing to give selflessly.  Cecilia's caring and nurturing heart left an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to know her.

A private cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Inurnment will also occur at a future time in Newfoundland.

In memory of Cecilia, may her legacy of love and kindness continue to inspire those whose lives she touched.
