TUCKER, Charles Alfred
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Charles Tucker on Friday, October 20, 2017 at Georgian Bay General Hospital in Midland at the age of 80. Charles leaves behind his beloved wife of 60 years, Gayle Tucker (nee Bressette). Loving father of Martin Tucker (Janet), Judy Mohan (Ron), Sandra Miller (Glen), Brian Tucker (Heather) and the late Sharon Tucker. Cherished Poppy of Kimberly, Jasmin, Russel, Jennifer, Julie (James), Matthew (Ainsleigh), Joseph (Jenn), Karen (Andrew), Kerry (Josh), Ross (Danielle), Tim, Tyler and Jimmy. Great Poppy of Jayden, Chloe, Arizona, Sonoma, Jasper, Arya, Hailey, Chelsea “Bun” and Jaxson. Dear brother of Shirley and June (Roy). Brother in law of Beryl, Margaret and Lorraine. Pre-deceased by his siblings: Claude, Marie, John, Barney, Delson, Marion, Gordon and Evelyn. Charles will be remembered by many nieces, nephews and extended family. The family would like to thank the personal support workers who took such great care of Charles.
In keeping with Charles’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will take place on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at the Waubaushene Protestant Cemetery at 11 a.m. The celebration of life will take place following the graveside service at the Royal Canadian Legion 316, 26 Willow Street, Waubaushene from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations can be made to the Waubaushene Royal Canadian Legion or a charity of choice.
