Charlie Luo

It is with profound sadness that the family of Charlie Luo announces his peaceful passing on April 26, 2026, at Simcoe Hospice, in Barrie, at the age of 12.

Born on September 21, 2013, Charlie was a cherished son, student, and friend. He attended Algonquin Ridge Elementary School, where he was known for his gentle nature, kindness, and warm spirit. A devoted Christian, Charlie lived with a quiet faith that touched the lives of those around him.

Charlie was a bright and joyful boy who loved drawing, was full of creativity and ideas, and enjoyed playing Soccer. Throughout his brief but meaningful life, he brought countless moments of happiness and lasting memories to his family, friends, and classmates.

Though his time with us was brief, Charlie’s life was a blessing, and his memory will be treasured by all who knew and loved him.

Family and friends are invited to attend the following services on Monday, May 4, 2026:

Visitation
10:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

Funeral Service
11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Location
Inniswood Baptist Church (460 Yonge St, Barrie ON L4N4E2)

A Burial Service will follow from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Innisvale Cemetery. (7551 5^th Side Rd, Innisfil, ON L9S3S1)

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Charlie’s memory may be made to Simcoe Hospice The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Simcoe Hospice, Emily’s House and SickKids Hospital for their compassionate care and support.

Charlie will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. May he rest in eternal peace.
