SHEWELL, Charlotte ‘Cheryl’ Elizabeth, passed away peacefully with her family by her side in Barrie, ON, on Tuesday, August 28, 2018. Daughter of William (deceased) and Eileen McChesney. Beloved wife of Robert Shewell. Loving mother of Ginger, Desiree, Nelson (deceased) and Asia (dog) Shewell. Cherished by many other family members and friends.

 

 

Cremation has taken place. At Cheryl’s request, a Celebration of Life will take place at the Ferndale Banquet Hall, 24 Ferndale Industrial Dr, Barrie on Sunday, Sept. 16 from 3-7 p.m.

If desired, memorial donations can be made to Diabetes Canada (diabetes.ca).

Cheryl will be remembered for her love of music and travel, her dedication to women’s rights, her positive and intuitive spirit and the light she brought to all those she met.

    Beautiful lady inside and out. Brought sparkle and laughter to so many. Cheryl loved laughter and I will always remember her kind and gentle voice. Sadly missed. Cousin Dianne Hawdon

    Very sorry to hear of Cheryl passing. I have never met a person as sweet spirit as her. I so very much enjoyed working along side of her when I was her PSW. She always made you feel special and always grateful for what you have done for her and always ask how you were doing in looking after yourself.
    I still have her gift she gave me a few years back for xmas for being her special caregiver. Little did she realize she was mine also.
    Sleep well my friend.
