We mourn the loss of a cherished soul, Cheryl Ruth Fraser (Purcell), who departed from this world surrounded by family on December 11th at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie, Ontario.  She was a beacon of kindness and love, illuminating the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A devoted mother, and grandmother, Cheryl found her greatest joy in the embrace of her family.  Her warm presence and unwavering love created a home filled with laughter, warmth, and boundless affection.

A true artist at heart, Cheryl possessed a remarkable talent for the arts.  Her creative spirit flowed effortlessly through her fingertips, manifesting in countless beautiful paintings and exquisite crafts throughout the years.  Her creations will forever stand as a testament to her passion and creativity.

Though she has left this world, Cheryl will remain eternally cherished in the hearts of her family and friends.  Her gentle spirit and loving nature will continue to inspire and guide us all.

In this time of sorrow, let us remember Cheryl for the love she shared, the joy she brought, and the beauty she created.  May her soul rest in eternal peace, and may her memory be a blessing to us all.

Cheryl was survived by her father, Campbell Fraser (Patricia) of Penetanguishene and her siblings, Christine Belliveau (Marc) of Waverly NS, David Fraser (Kris) of London ON, Brenda Fraser of Penetanguishene ON.  Cheryl left behind her three surviving children and six grandchildren, Sarah Yandell (Brian Yandell), Logan Yandell of Barrie ON, Amelia Purcell, Evelyn and Michael Alexander of Barrie ON, Alec Purcell (Lauren Hannah), Jameson, Mackenzie, and Jackson Purcell of Barrie ON.  Nieces and Nephews Luc, Chantal, Sophie and Max Belliveau, Jamey, Katrina and Myles Fraser, Rebecca and Jessie Morgan.  Cheryl was predeceased by her mother, Glenna (Mary Gertrude) Fraser (Rodden) and her infant brother.

A celebration of life will be held for Cheryl on April 27, 2024.  More information will be provided on location, date, and time.  Interment will take place at another date at the Fraser Cemetery in Springwater, ON.  

Donations in memory of Cheryl can be made to the Canadian Cancer foundation, Canadian Mental Health Association or any charity of your choosing in Lieu of flowers.

    Cheryl, the love you had in your heart was endless! You loved all of us as your own, I have so many memories with you in them since I was 14 years old!

    You’ve raised some great, strong kids! Who have all grown up to have the same heart you have! You are very missed! Xo
