Clarence Ronald Fitchett 90, of Barrie, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2026, at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre.
Ron was a loving and supportive husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
Ron was born in Vernonville, Ontario, to Clarence and Hazel Fitchett. He was the cherished husband of Ann and a loving father to Kimberly, Debbie, Allan (Ann), and Rick (Rita).
He was a proud grandfather to Kirkland (Britney), Marissa (Drew), Taylor (Royce), Jonathan (Jessie), Craig, Adam (Sophie), Jennifer, Conrad (Roz), and Tamarah, and a loving great-grandfather to Dean, Kinsley, and Georgia.
Ron was a loving brother to Beverly, Garry (Susan), and Donny, and a dear brother-in-law to Pearl and Jimmy (Irma). He will also be fondly remembered as a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.
