Funeral Details: In keeping with Clifford’s wishes, a private Celebration of Life has taken place.

It is with sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Clifford Therrien at home on July 2, 2026, with his family by his side.

Born on January 20, 1941, in Penetanguishene, Ontario, Clifford lived a life marked by dedication, perseverance, and a deep commitment to those he loved.  Among his proudest accomplishments was his service in the Canadian Armed Forces as a member of the 8th Canadian Hussars, a chapter of his life that reflected his sense of duty and pride in serving his community.

Clifford was a devoted husband, loving father, proud Pepere, and trusted friend.  He leaves behind his beloved wife, Mary, of 47 years; his children, Jonathan and Jessica; and his treasured granddaughter, Luna, who brought him endless pride and joy.  He will also be remembered by close friends, neighbours, and all whose lives were touched by his kindness, wisdom, and quiet strength.

Clifford found happiness in life’s simple pleasures, especially time spent with his family.  His steady presence, warm heart, and unwavering love will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by those who knew him.

In keeping with Clifford’s wishes, a private Celebration of Life has taken place.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Clifford’s honour may be made to SickKids Foundation.  Clifford and his family have been grateful for assisting his Daughter and Granddaughter throughout the years.

Oh how very shocked and filled with sadness to see this post. I loved Cliff like a brother. He was a treasured friend. I will always remember our hunting and fishing trips as some of my most special memories. They always bring a huge smile to my face. I sent my love and share your grief. Pat and I will remember all in our prayers. Cliff was the best buddy anyone could ask for. I have missed seeing and talking to him but always hoped we could get together once again. I love you my dear precious friend
