Love you grandma, thank you for helping me when I was younger by coming up with creative ways to make math fun. At the time I wasn’t fond of it, as I was a kid who just wanted to play. But now that I’m older, I understand why. You will always hold a place in my heart. ❤️

Rest peacefully Aunt Dale. I know that you’re where you want to be now, with Uncle Doug who we will also dearly miss. I have many fond memories of you both and will be forever grateful for your wonderful hospitality when I was attending university in Hamilton. Sadly after leaving university, we lost contact except for the occasional family get together as I was living in Ottawa and your family was taking up a lot of your time. However, when we did get to see each other, it was always with a generous embrace and welcoming smile. I am sorry that we were unable to be of any kind of support following Uncle Doug’s passing due to Covid 19 but you were in our thoughts and prayers and Melody and Donita kept me apprised of your situation. Speaking on behalf of my brothers and my family, we are sad to see you go but pleased that you went peacefully and that you are now beyond the pain and sadness that you suffered. All our love….Stephen, Debra and Erik.

Dear Mel & Ron and family, Dwayne & Denise and family, Donita & Brad and family. My heart aches for you all but I know that your Mom, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, Dalaine, is in a much better place and with her beloved Doug and Debbie again. It has been such a difficult year and a half for us all and I know you tried Dalaine but “God saw you getting tired so he put his arms around you and whispered, Come with me.” Please remember you are all in my thoughts and prayers. May peace and comfort surround you with the love you all share.
Until we meet again Dear Dalaine. Love Darlene ❤
