Funeral Details: A Private Family Farewell

DALE ALEXANDER STEPHEN PADMORE

June 14, 1974 – October 24, 2020

Dale Padmore passed away suddenly at home on October 24, 2020 at the age of 46. He will be forever remembered by family, including his wife Jody and his two daughters, Rowen and Ripley, the pride and joy of his life, his mother Sandra Knight (Barry), his brother Mark (Reut), his sister Wendy Manez (Steve) and his nephews Tyler and Ryan. He will be missed by many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews in Canada and England. He is predeceased by his father David and stepmother Janice.

Dale was a proud member of Local 46 Plumbers and Steam Fitters and was very pleased to be part of building many prominent structures across Ontario. Duke, his shiny black Labrador, a constant companion even accompanied him to some job sites. He loved being on the water and camping in Fairbanks Provincial Park, along with enjoying epic campfires and fireworks on Pine Lake in Gooderham. Dale enjoyed travelling the world, whether touring Muskoka by houseboat or charter fishing for Mahi-Mahi in Panama, Jamaica and Playa del Carmen. Extremely talented at home renovations, he poured himself into redoing the family home. Dale was a kind hard-working man who loved his family.

A private family service will be held in memory of Dale.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the wonderful team at Southlake Hospital with the family’s appreciation.

Jody, I can’t begin to imagine how you’re holding up. I have so many wonderful memories of Dale in the 15 years that I worked with him. He loved life and always had an optimistic, cheery outlook. He was always the first one to help when called upon. And he loved you, Rowen and Ripley so very much. It’s so hard to understand or accept this. I am so sorry for your loss and I send you & the girls comfort and love during this very difficult time.

Shocked and deeply saddened to read of Dales passing. He was a kind soul who made us feel welcome when we met you in 2013/14. We had recently arrived from New Zealand and you both took us in with your kindness. My thoughts are with you and the girls. Too soon. He loved you all very much, that was clear. Love to all. Kindest Regards Matt and the Crowther family.
