Daniel you danced to the beat of your own drum and this takes a conscious effort. I’m not sure where all the years have gone since I first met you as a young boy but somehow they slipped past. You can rest now away from the struggles, knowing you’re beautiful daughter will be in good hands. Your mom and your stepdad will always watch out for her. I believe you will float around giving the three of them the strength and peace they need to carry on. With love always, your friend Anne

I am saddened by this news. We both attended the same bible study on Monday evenings. When Dan would bring up something provocative about a particular scripture; he had my attention right away and I liked him. I discovered that he was a very bright, astute man and somebody to be listened to. I will be praying for his family. I am glad to have been acquainted with him this short time.

I too had the privilege of getting to know Dan through the Bible study group, Dan had some great insights into the Bible passages we discussed, and was always ready to look for ways to apply the passage to himself. Dan was a great example to us all, and one who I will miss.

I am going to miss Dan like crazy. He was an amazing friend and excellent musician. We worked and a few different projects together and it hurts to know our future ones won’t happen now. We had some incredibly enlightening conversations over the years and he opened my eyes to a lot of different things.

We all will miss you, Dan. Very much.
