Daniel Robert John Gray

Funeral Details: A celebration of Danny's life will be held at a later date.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Daniel Gray on January 21, 2025, in Barrie, Ontario. Known for his lively spirit and love of life.

Danny was the proud father of Terry-Lynn (Ritchie), Katie, and Danny, and the cherished honorary father to Katie (Jeff), Tamara, Josh, and the late Dylan. He adored his grandchildren Logan, Raven, Bailey, Drake, Hunter, Kate-Lynn, Desiray, Alexis, Ryland, Lucas, and Carter, and was a loving great-grandfather to Devyn and Avery. His family was his pride and joy, and he treasured every moment spent with them.

Danny is survived by his siblings Earl (Linda), Lynn, and Randy, and his brother-in-law Fred. He was predeceased by his beloved partner of over 20 years, Janet, his sister Sharon, his brother-in-law Steve, and his parents, Herman and Joan.

A sociable and fun-loving man, Danny lived life to the fullest. He was always the life of the party, bringing joy and laughter to those around him. He had a passion for western movies and rock and roll, which were constant sources of happiness in his life.

Danny’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for his vibrant spirit and the love he shared with his family and friends.

    Thank you for all the life lessons you taught me throughout all the years. Thank you for stepping up and taking on the responsibility of help raise myself and my siblings. Most of all thank you for being the best grandfather to my children. You will be missed dearly by all of us. Rest in paradise 💙
