Blythe, David was in the mist of battling liver cancer when he was taken suddenly on January 6, 2023 at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie, ON.
Beloved husband of Dawn and loving father of Sara Tatarynowicz (Paul) and Ashley Lawrence (Maxx Dougall). Proud grandfather of Jack Tatarynowicz, Lillian Shepperd and Dawson Dougall. Survived by his brother Jim Blythe, nieces Kassie Blythe (Marshall Jenkins), Meghan White (Mike) and great nieces Alexandra and Emily. Predeceased by his parents William and Margaret Blythe.
Dave’s favourite thing to do was being with his wife, children and grandchildren. He was a hippie in his heart and soul, he loved nature, sitting by the river bank, walking and fishing. He did love a good horror movie and was always up for talking about the good memories he had with the great people he made along the way.
He just enjoyed life, he was so humble and he was the type of man who would give you the shirt of his back. Dave was a great husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and so much more. He will be missed dearly every day by those who knew him.
At Dave’s request cremation has taken place and donations in his memory to the Canadian Cancer Society www.cancer.ca would be greatly appreciated by the family.
