Our hearts are breaking as we announce the sudden passing of David Charles Quinn on January 25th, 2020 in his 65th year. Adored by those lucky enough to have known him, Dave, ‘Chief’, will forever be known as the life of the party.
He leaves behind his loving wife Cindi and his treasured children, Brendan (Marie) and Caileigh (Xavier). Dave is pre-deceased by his parents George and Frances Quinn, and his brother Peter.
He will be deeply missed by all his brothers Michael, Patrick (Heather) and Daniel (Fran), Jeff, Jamie (Lisa) and Craig (Linda) along with the many nieces and nephews who grew up looking forward to hearing his boisterous laugh at family gatherings, long cottage days and endless games nights. Those who knew Dave would tell you he was passionate, opinionated, fun, generous and loved to tell a good story. He will forever be missed by those who knew him. The world will be a sadder place without Dave because people like Dave don’t come around very often.
Friends and family are invited to join us for a Celebration of Life reception on Sunday February 2nd, at the Ferndale Banquet Hall, 24 Ferndale Industrial Drive in Barrie from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm.
