Funeral Details: Saturday September 17th, 2022 from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. Barrie Royal Canadian Legion Branch 147

Mills, Delva Irene:  Passed away peacefully at the IOOF Seniors Home, Barrie on Wednesday evening August 17, 2022.  Delva Mills of Barrie at the age of 78 years.  Beloved wife of the late John Mills.  Loving mother of Steven Mills (Shelly) and Shelley Marchildon (Gil).  She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Cody and Kelsey (Matthew).  Also survived and lovingly remembered by her sister Della.  Delva enjoyed 51 years in her neighbourhood and had many fond memories of friends and neighbors along the way.  A special thank you to Tom, Pete and Jackie for your care and kindness which we know she truly appreciated.  The family would like to thank the staff at RVH and IOOF for their care and compassion.  At Delva’s request cremation has taken place.  A celebration of Life will be held at the Barrie Legion Branch 147 on Saturday September 17th, 2022 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.

    Oh Shelley and Gil ,so sorry for your loss ,Just know she is at peace after a long struggle .It’s never easy to say goodbye to your mother ,I feel that someday we shall be reunited .My thoughts and prayers are with you .
