Treasured memories of my dear brother Derek, at peace and re-united with our loving mum and dad and brother Alan. Although we have lived apart for many years and seen each other on occasional holidays you have always been close to my heart. Sleep well dear brother. God has you in keeping, I have you in my heart. Loved and remembered always, your loving sister Ann

    Tribute to my Father-In-Law.
Today, on what would have been your 86th birthday, I remember & honour your memory. You are very much missed dad and it’s been a hard year on the family. We all grieve your leaving this earth and are doing our best to carry on with strength and heads held high. I visit weekly your devoted wife (Mum) and she is coping fairly well but oh, she misses you dearly. Your son Steve has handled all the financial/legal responsibilities beautifully…you would be so proud of him…your daughter Laurie is spreading her unconditional light & love with her 2 beautiful grandchildren. For me, I envision you standing beside me & teaching me how to fix our broken fence. You taught us how to keep our chins up and forge forward. It’s still hard to believe you’re gone, but we’re all trying to adjust. I hope you are catching up with your loved ones and maybe you’ve even met my Grandparents and my Dad. I raise a glass to you on this birthday. Love you always, Cindy

It’s been a year since you left us. You have been missed greatly. Mum is dealing with it the best she can, but she misses you oh so much. It’s painful to hear her speak about missing you. There is nothing we can do to ease her emptiness…we just have to help her through it. Help each other through it.
If you can, a reassuring touch or vision or moment of compassion would go a long way to easing her pain.
    We all miss you Dad
    -Cindy
