Dianne Marie Wright

May 6, 1947 - November 3, 2026

Funeral Details: A Celebration of Rob and Dianne’s Life will be held, with details to be announced on a later date.

With broken hearts and so much love, we announce the passing of our cherished Mom, Nana, sister and friend, Dianne Marie Wright, at the age of 79.

Born and raised in Stayner, Dianne was the beloved daughter of the late Lloyd and Isobel Doner. She is reunited with her beloved husband, Robert, who passed away in March 2022. Married in June 1966, they shared nearly 56 years together and were truly inseparable. She missed him more than words could say.

Dianne was the loving mom of Sonny Wright (Karen) and Shawna-Leigh Christophersen (Raymond), and cherished Nana to the late Thomas, Henry (Natalie), Jack, Karsen and Kaleb. Dianne will be deeply missed by her siblings, Doug and Brenda Lee. She was predeceased by her brother Danny. She will also be fondly remembered by her adored aunt, many cherished cousins, extended family and many, many dear friends.

Family was at the heart of Dianne’s life. She was our constant source of love and support, always worrying about us, no matter how grown we became. We will forever treasure our family dinners, conversations over a glass of wine and the comfort of knowing Mom was always there.

Her warm beautiful smile, sense of humour and caring heart brought her friendships that lasted a lifetime, some spanning more than 50 years. Through their younger years, work at Acriform and Inscape, years of boating and their treasured Sandycove community, Dianne and Robert made many lasting friendships.

Their sweet dog, Precious, held a special place in her heart, and she dearly missed having her by her side during her time in hospital.

Our heartfelt thanks go to the many doctors and nurses at RVH for their care, and to the staff at Victoria Village for warmly welcoming Mom and caring for her during her short stay.

A Celebration of Rob and Dianne’s Life will be held, with details to be announced on a later date.

Rest gently, Mom. Reunited with Dad, and always and forever loved by all of us.
