Dirk Boon

September 12, 1938 - April 2, 2026

Funeral Details: Private family arrangements

Passed away peacefully on April 2, 2026 at the age of 87 years.

Beloved son of the late Dirk Sr. and Anna.  Predeceased by his loving wife, Lore Boon.  Cherished father of Wolfgang, and Lawrence (Manon).  Proud Opa of Danika (Adriaan), and Liam. Dear brother of Henk (Harriett), Anika, and the late Richard, and Jopee.

To say that Dirk loved to garden would be an understatement.  Gardening was truly his passion, especially cultivating hostas and flowers, which was something his wife Lore enjoyed.  Living on seven acres of land, Dirk dedicated two acres entirely to his gardens.  Over the years, he planted thousands of hostas and nearly as many flowers.  His gardens were not only a testament to his dedication, but also a place where he found great peace.

Dirk was a social and friendly man who genuinely enjoyed connecting with others.  He appreciated conversation and treasured the time spent sharing stories and laughter with everyone.
