With hearts filled with love and gratitude for a life well lived, we announce the peaceful passing of Donna Marilyn Bonney on November 2, 2026, at the age of 93. Born to Stan and Hilda Hockin, Donna was the youngest of four children, with three older siblings: Elinor, Alan, and Lois, all of whom predeceased her.
Donna was the beloved mother of Glen (Michelle Ouellette), Karen (Ron Goodridge), Lynn (Paul Lawn) and Diane (formerly married to Chris Lefebvre). She devoted herself wholeheartedly to raising her children, taking on much of that responsibility on her own. Her dedication, love and sacrifices helped shape their lives and became an enduring part of the family she cherished so deeply. She treasured her eight grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren, with each generation holding a special place in her heart.
A faithful servant of Jehovah God for nearly 60 years, her faith, kindness and devotion were reflected in the way she lived and in the values she passed on to her family. Deeply missed and lovingly remembered, Donna will forever be held close in the hearts of all who knew her. Her life remains a testament to faith, love, and devotion.
We would like to warmly thank the staff of the Newmarket Health Centre, Rogers Wing for all their care and kindness.
A memorial service will be held via Zoom on November 15, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. For access information, please contact a member of the family.

Posted on: Friday, November 6, 2026When I think of Donna – I see her smiling, her bright, blue eyes and her great laugh. I will miss her.
Her love for Jehovah was demonstrated in everything she did and said. She loved her family and set the best example for them to follow.
Donna had a great sense of humour, loved to talk about her childhood and share stories from when she was growing up. I loved to listen to them.
We used to debate on who had the best eyesight. She said that she could see a bird on a tree a mile away! I just said – “Donna, you win”.
So, I look forward to seeing her again. We all do. And I thank Jehovah for giving us this ‘pillar’ as an example in our lives.
