Funeral Details: Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at the Innisfil Community Church, 1571 Innisfil Beach Rd., Innisfil
Dorothy went home to be with the Lord peacefully on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at 1:11pm at Hospice Simcoe. She was just 6 days shy of her 86th birthday. Beloved wife of the late Martinus Maas. Loving mom of Diane (Don), Liz (Paul), and the late Carla Hurren. Cherished oma of Christine (Brendan), Samantha (Robert), Becca (Brian), Ryan (Sara), Kelly, Chris (Tia), Josh (Lindsay), Darren (Kelcie), Sara, and many great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Marie, Joop, Bets and Mart, all of Holland. Predeceased by her sister Nel. Dorothy will be dearly missed by many extended family members and friends in Canada and Holland.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the Innisfil Community Church, 1571 Innisfil Beach Road, Innisfil, Ontario. The funeral will be held on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at 1:30pm with an 1.5 hour visitation prior at Innisfil Community Church. Interment 6th Line Cemetery, with reception to follow.
