Farewell and safe passage to our wonderful friend Mary. There are no words to describe what Mary meant to us- she helped us raise our boys and welcomed us like family. We were neighbors and great friends. I have never met a kinder soul and should have known The Lord would take her home sooner than we were ready. We are all lucky to have had you in our lives, Mary. You will be remembered always by your Boys and their parents. Chris, Vicki, Liam & Dylan Jones

I was quite young when our families spent time together back in Woodstock but remember Mrs. Turnbull quite clearly. Whether it was a Sunday roast beef dinner or a casual meal – always followed by the perfect cup of tea and a biscuit or sweet treat – we were always welcomed warmly into your home. My sincere condolences on the passing of a lovely woman.

Remembering Aunty Edith with such fondness and love. She will always be remembered for her calm gentle caring passion for everyone whoever they may be, and left a warm impression upon them. Whenever I think of my visits to Canada it will be of the time spent with family reunions, meals and trips out, and the laughter we all shared.

    God Bless.

    Richard and Julie.

Well Edith you are with Dot now and no doubt you will be chatting about old times and all the things you both got up to whilst growing up. I can still remember the times we shared in Newcastle and Canada, and the laughs we had when we were all together.

    God Bless.

    Dick.

Sending you heart felt condolences on the loss of your wonderful mother/wife/grandmother and friend, Edith (Mary). I am so grateful I got the opportunity to spend time with Edith when I visited Canada in 2009 and again in 2015, sharing memories of England and her life growing up with my grandma, Dot. I am so sad that she has left us, but feel some comfort that she has been reunited with my grandma.

    With lots of love,

    Hannah and David xxx
