Funeral Details: Private Family Arrangements

Hi there, it’s Edna one last time.

My voice has been silenced but my prayers live on, letting you know I have gone Home to be with Lord Jesus.  I thank each of you for touching my life.

Dad died in ’88, Mom in ’01.

I had a 30 year nursing career after graduating RVH ’65 I taught plus my last 10 years worked with a great team of nurses in public health.  I was an early retiree at 51 not of my choosing but a great blessing as it gave God a chance to get my attention.  He later gave me an opportunity to give homeopathy and encouragement to people and pets.  This has been the most important work I have done and all to God’s credit.

He coached me through my suffering so He could work through me to bring healing and relief of pain freely given to many.  These are dark and traumatic times; lives have been painfully disrupted and many people scarred.

My prayer for you is that you will remain alert and wise regarding all matters in the future.

If you want to do something to remember me, do something good and kind for someone who is hurting, put a smile on their face, lift their heart and spirit, as I pray I have done for you with my obit.

Farewell friends.

It was such a privilege to take care of Edna these last few months and the house seems very quiet without her. So thankful to know her suffering is over and she’s safe in the arms of Jesus. Her legacy will be a good one.

I didn’t know Edna but she sounds like a great person. She was a friend of a friend. I will follow her advice below.

If you want to do something to remember me, do something good and kind for someone who is hurting, put a smile on their face, lift their heart and spirit, as I pray I have done for you with my obit.

RIP my good friend. We shared many a good conversation and had good visits since my retirement from the vet hospital in 2018. We became very good friends and I’ve missed you since I’ve moved back home to the Soo. Your boy, Leo, will miss you terribly. Thank you for all that you did here on earth, it is time for you to rest. You truly were Gods Earth Angel.

Edna had a sparkle in her eyes that never dimmed, despite any trial that she was going through! We had so many great conversations centred around our Lord and Saviour, that I will always remember! Wow I can only imagine how bright and sparkly her eyes are now as she has entered full glory!!
Your last words to my mom were “the next time I see you, it will be heaven”!!!
Blessings and love to her remaining family and friends as we all remember Edna!❤️
