O’Loan, Frances Eileen “Eileen” – passed away on Sunday September 4th in her 84th year after 9 weeks in hospital . Pre-deceased in 2012 by her loving husband Jim O’Loan , Eileen will be greatly missed by her daughter Kelly (Madill), along with her step-son Anthony (Tony) O’Loan and his wife Carolyn, and by her step-daughter Linda Prociw and family. Eileen was a devoted and much loved grandma to Rhiannon and Kieran Madill. She was a huge and integral part of their lives; attending all of their extra-curricular activities and supporting them in everything they did and they will miss her terribly. To her daughter Kelly, she was the anchor of the family, the glue that kept everyone close, and she provided never-ending support and love through the most difficult times. She will be forever remembered as a kind a loving soul who took care of everyone she cared about, and loved unconditionally.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Heidi DeBoeur, Eileen’s family physician who generated a bond with Eileen and family that was greatly appreciated throughout her illness. Thank you also to the nursing staff at RVH Cardiac/Renal department who provided such excellent care and support to Eileen. Finally, a huge thank you to all of Eileen’s friends and neighbors on Nature Trail Road in Sandy Cove south. Thank you for all the times you checked up on her, making her meals and ensuring she had everything she needed, and thank you for the support and love you extended to her family during the course of her illness. We will be forever grateful for the blessings we have received from all.
