My sincerest sympathy to the Soloy and Blair family. Most, if not all, of the Blair family were a classmate of myself or my Jessup siblings. We would connect in school, at the Warren Fair or occasionally for Church activities. I think of the Blair family each time I drive by what I always refer to as the Blair farm close to Warren. We had the pleasure to work with Ellen for more then seven years. Her talent, passion and zest for life shone through every single day. A mentor to the younger ones and a known talent. But none of those qualities were outdone by her absolute love for her family- especially those grandbabies. We are so sad to hear this news.

I was shocked by this untimely passing of Ellie although her smile and giddy laughter will remain in my memory. The Blair’s have always said we were their chosen family, We could not have been luckier in this choice made 86 years ago.Ellie was always eager to chat about our lives and hers. May you shine above as you have on earth. Hugs sent
To all family members. We will be there Friday, Mom also depending on her health.

I am saddened by your loss. Your mom opened her gallery in Oro Medonte at the same time I opened my B&B. We shared many lunches together as our respective businesses grew. Ellen had a flare for art. Doug and I have some phenomenal pieces of art as a result of her gallery. I will cherish those pieces as I think of her. You have chosen a perfect location to celebrate a wonderful woman.! Over lunch, we always talked about family first, because that was so important to Ellen. She was very proud of her girls and her grandchildren. I will miss coffees in the kitchen, glasses of wine in the back yard, but most importantly her smile, her laugh and her words of encouragement. I raise my glass to you, my dear friend.
