Emily Elizabeth Clark

Emily Elizabeth "Betty" Clark, 85, passed away on January 24, 2024 at the Mill Creek Care Centre, Barrie.  She was the cherished daughter of the late Herbert "Happy" and Margaret Buchanan.  Mother of Karen (John Scharf).  Sister of Harold Buchanan (Shirley Mercer Buchanan), and the late Sheila Milligan (Stan), and Dorothy (Jack).  Betty's warmth and love extended beyond her immediate family, shared also by her best friend Gail Trudel.

Betty was known for her infectious laughter and had a passion for knitting and embroidery.  Her kitchen was a haven for delicious treats – from tempting carrot cakes to irresistible cookies, and mouthwatering apple pies.  Though one couldn't resist, she made every bite a moment to savor.

A true animal lover, Betty has now reunited with her departed companions, George, and her best pal Mindy.  Her love for animals was as boundless as her energy, and she never sat still, always busy doing something.
