Eunice “Dolly” Borthwick

March 10, 1926 – January 1, 2021

Passed away peacefully at Southlake Hospital on January 1, 2021.  Predeceased by her husband William (Bill) and her son Ross.  She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Sharon and her husband Dennis, her daughter-in-law Agnes, her three grandchildren Michelle, Ian and Lindsay and her husband Adam Zurawski.  She cherished her three great grandchildren Emily, Nathan and Lucas.  She will be missed by her brother Kenny.  She will be remembered by her friends at Amica Retirement residence where she lived up until she went into the hospital.  Dolly had a smile that lit up the room.  People often mentioned that they loved her smile.  Thanks to the wonderful staff at MCC in Southlake Hospital who took such good care of her these past three months.  Dolly will be cremated and laid to rest beside her husband Bill.  A celebration of life will held in the future.  She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.  Donations may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada.  Online condolences may be made at www.peacefultransition.ca

    Dear Sharon, Dennis, Lindsay and family,
    It’s so heartbreaking to lose such a wonderful member of your family. I will always remember Dolly’s smile and zest for life! I always looked forward to seeing her at your gatherings to spend time talking to her and letting some of her exuberance enthusiasm for life flow into my soul. She will be missed.
