Funeral Details: Service will be held at the Salvation Army Church, 151 Lillian Crescent, Barrie, Ontario on Wednesday October 5, 2022 at 1:00pm. Burial will take place October 6, 2022 at the Plattsville Cemetery in Plattsville, Ontario at 1:00pm.
Frances Lillian (Sampson) Deeton passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the age of 88 on September 30, 2022 in Barrie, Ontario.
Loving mother of Lynda (Mark) of Windsor, Ontario, Margie (Bill) of Innisfil, Ontario and Gwen of Barrie, Ontario. Proud Nana of 7 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren. Survived by her brother Everett (Frances) and sister Florence (Kitch). Pre- deceased by Husband of 43 years Walter and sister Emma.
Born in Grand Bank Newfoundland on April 16, 1934 and a long-time member of the Salvation Army.
Donations to the Salvation Army would be greatly appreciated by the family.

family of the passing of a wonderful , sweet lady. I’m saddened to hear the passing of this sweet always smiling lady. We always had great talks while I was cutting or perming her hair at home . The shock of hearing your sudden passing doesn’t seem really . I guess because I just recently came to you a much needed perm & haircut .

Pat and I are sorry to here of your Mom’s passing. Over the years we had lost contact with her.
We both have many wonderful memories and not to mention the laughter. Your Mom was a beautiful lady with a heart of gold.
Sorry we are unable to attend the service I have an appointment that I was unable to change.
