There will be a celebration of Frank’s extraordinary life on June 1, 2019 at The Heights of Horseshoe at 1106 Horseshoe Valley Road W, Barrie. Doors open at 11:00 am.  Please join us for remembrance of Frank and fellowship in his honour.

Frank Gauder, at the age of 88 years, passed away peacefully at Hospice Simcoe in Barrie on March 2, 2019.  Frank, a proud Canadian, who immigrated to Canada in 1951, is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Lieselotte, son Glenn with wife Irene, daughter Janet with husband Scott Running; loving Opa to Jessica, Jarrett, Nicholas, Jenna and Evan.  Fondly remembered by his brother Joe Gauder and his sister Marianne Szijarto and her sons, Frank, Bob and Ken.

Frank’s unending pursuit of his dreams and aspirations built a legacy that will continue far beyond today.  Frank’s skills of his trade, his determination, and entrepreneurial spirit were the building blocks that formed Theta TTS, a manufacturing company he founded in Barrie in 1962. Many lives were enriched because of his generosity and caring support.  We are eternally grateful for the sacrifices and contributions he made for all of us.

Donations are welcome in Frank’s name to Hospice Simcoe whose staff provided exemplary care and comfort in his final days.

    It was my pleasure to know Mr. Frank Gauder for over thirty years. He was the proud founder of a well known tool and die manufacturing industry in Barrie and his meaningful support to us was and is greatly appreciated. He was a man of honor, dignity, perseverance and a man of his word. He talked little and acted a lot.
    May I share a Baha’i prayer, in part, for the progress of his spirit in the next worlds of God;

    “…O Lord, glorify his station, shelter him under the pavilion of Thy supreme mercy, cause him to enter Thy glorious paradise, and perpetuate his existence in Thine exalted rose garden, that he may plunge into the sea of light in the world of mysteries.
    Verily, Thou art the Generous, the Powerful, the Forgiver and the Bestower.”
    My sincere condolences to his dear son, Glenn, his entire family and also dear Rob

    My condolence’s to the family. I was saddened and shocked when I ran into Scott the other week. It was an honor to know Frank and to work at Theta TTS. It meant the world to me when I saw him at Anne’s Celebration of Life and I know his spirit and inspiration lives through his children and all those he touched in his personal and business endeavors. God Bless.
