Posted on: Tuesday, June 7, 2022I have such fond memories of Daddy #2. Some of my favourites, I’ve shared with you many times. The long “eeeeehhhhhhhh….” from his perch on the couch. Around the corner out of sight, but listening carefully as Gilly and I tried to scurry out the front door. Having breakfast altogether on Sunday mornings with opera and classical music full blast…even after a late Saturday night. Actually, come to think of it, I think it was even louder on those mornings. But the one thing that is forever in my mind, and I know is a vivid memory for my parents, too, is that beautiful whistle that told us he was working in your yard even when we couldn’t see him for the trees and the bushes. Loved your dad. Love all of you. xoxo
